Philosophy statement
As a non-profit 501(c)3 community-based organization, NC3 is concerned with offering educational and recreational programs for children. The Center's objective is to provide positive experiences which allow the child to grow independently, physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively. Each child's abilities, interests and limitations are considered in the planning of the daily program. With a "learning through play" model, concepts are incorporated into the activities. This allows the child freedom to experience new ideas through play. The program allows for structure and openness with staff. The child is encouraged to learn through exploration, self-direction and communication.
